total explosion

Today I found the most phenomenal training session so far on LadyLine. It’s called total explosion and it really is! Now I’m enjoying that lovely feeling of having done something really exhausting! great!

On Sunday we changed to summer time – I always think Finland is such a safe and nice place because the time changing is always number one news when you turn on the tv or radio that day We have had a really nice schedule on Monday and Tuesday so the changing hasn’t effected my life really, but tomorrow we start at 8.30, which will feel like 7.30 – and that’s early to be in school!

Did you notice that Amazing race was broadcast from Finland on Sunday? It was quite funny to see the teams in Helsinki (or Helinski as one team said), Tampere and Turku. They commented among other things on the fact that everyone was standing in queue for a taxi, the red lights never changed even though there weren’t any pedestrians around and “don’t they wear wooden shoes there?” *hahaha* sounds like Finland in a nutshell, doesn’t it?

I had to hand in the newest version of my gradu on Thursday, which meant I have a free weekend now. As any normal post modern human being would ask, I ask myself what do you do on a free weekend?!

So far I have:
- read a novel in bed
- bought some new clothes from JC and Vero Moda
- had coffee (read: hot chocolate) with a couple of friends
- read some articles on teaching (can’t help I do that as a hobby as well…)
- talked on the phone with Maria
- watched the finals of Let’s Dance with Carina
- eaten chocolate
- visited two flea markets and found some nice (quite unnecessary) stuff
- had a good workout on the gym

One of the films is Asterix & Obelix in French – something to entertain/torture my future pupils with. The other one is the 3rd of the Pirates of the Caribbean films: At World’s End. It was on sale and since I have a little crush on Captain Jack Sparrow I had to buy it.

After all, it looks like I know how to spend a free weekend..

världens vackraste datum

Jag tycker om datum, och vissa datum är vackrare än andra. (konstiga intressen, I know)
I dag är det världens vackraste datum!
I dag skulle min lillebror ha fyllt 22. Men han blev bara 19. 
Jag saknar honom.
Att sakna innebär både gråt och skratt. Det finns så många fina & roliga minnen, samtidigt som det är ledsamt att det inte blir några nya minnen..

Måndag och tisdag har gått i studiernas tecken, som de flesta veckodagar gör. Presentationen igår gick bra. Jag tycker om att hålla presentationer I morgon blir det en till.
Vi övade på att korrigera studentexamensprov. Det var inte så lätt alla gånger.

På eftermiddagen var jag på jumppa. Börjar komma igång med träningen igen, efter att ha hyrt ett kort till Sports Club för tre månader. Jej! Men mitt högra knä har ställt till med lite problem, förhoppningsvis dock inget allvarligt.

En dag gick jag till biblioteket och lånade ett par böcker bara för nöjes skull! Egentligen borde jag väl inte ha tid för att läsa “bara annars böcker” eftersom det finns så många studierelaterade böcker jag borde läsa.. men nu bestämde jag mej bara för att jag vill ha tid att läsa nåt kul också. Och det är inte så svårt att prioritera

Snart ska jag luncha med Nicolina och sedan åter till föreläsningarna!
